Wake Forest University · Since 1993

Wake Forest's funniest (and only) sketch comedy troupe.

Original live sketch shows, 3 to 4 times a year, written and performed by a bunch of college students who like crackin' jokes.

About the Banshees

Over 30 years later, the Banshees are still lilting.

The Lilting Banshees Comedy Troupe was founded in 1993 at Wake Forest University by two friends, Ben Tomlin and Matt Jones, who wanted a chance to produce and perform original comedy content.

Every year we put on 3 to 4 original, live sketch comedy shows. Check out our Instagram for more frequent updates, or our YouTube for past sketches and videos.
